Who we are

MatchFrame: Camera Overlay ("the app") and getmatchframe.com ("the website") are provided by Ahmet Kütük, an individual developer in Türkiye, who is the data controller. Contact: support@getmatchframe.com.

Photos, videos and camera

The app uses the camera to take photos and clips, and the microphone to record sound with clips. Everything you capture is stored on your device. We don't upload, receive or have access to your photos or videos.

Photo library access is used to pick a reference image and to save exports. Media leaves your device only when you share it, save it elsewhere or turn on backup.

Backups

On iPhone you can back up projects to your own iCloud account; Apple stores that data under its terms. On Android you can create a backup file that you save or share yourself. We have no access to either.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm and restore purchases. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history and store receipts.

Advertising in the free version

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may process your IP address, device and advertising identifiers (if permitted) and how you interact with ads, to serve, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud.

On iPhone, ads are personalized only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choice first; if you refuse, the app does not request ads. Pro users see no ads.

Crash reports and diagnostics

We use Sentry to receive crash reports and performance data: device model, operating system, app version, and technical details of errors, linked to an anonymous identifier. If you send feedback through the app, your message is sent the same way. Reports don't include your photos or videos.

Reminders

Progress reminders are scheduled on your device as local notifications. No push service or server is involved.

This website

The website is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies or identify individual visitors.

Legal bases

Under the GDPR and Türkiye's personal data protection law (KVKK), we rely on: your consent for personalized ads and tracking; performance of a contract for purchases; and our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and secure for crash reports and website logs.

Retention

Media stays on your device until you delete it or the app. Crash reports are kept for a limited period, typically up to 90 days. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide Pro and meet legal obligations.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the EU, under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time (for ads, in your device's tracking or ad settings). Because we don't hold your photos or an account, most data can be removed by deleting the app. Write to support@getmatchframe.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority, or in Türkiye to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

Children

The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app.
